Glad to know that my work is among of the selection, thank you. This year's Juror Michael Monroe, Bellvue Art Museum Director Emeritus, have completed multiple rounds, ending with 70 selected artists out of 222 applicants.
Following are thoughts from Michael’s jury statement:
“I was impressed with both the quantity and the quality of the entries. While competitions, by their very nature, can’t be complete surveys of all the emerging and professional artists in the region, this exhibition plays a vital role in giving artists a high quality venue, especially in this era of ever shrinking opportunities for showing works of excellence. My personal criteria for making informed decisions can be summed up in the following thoughts. The strongest objects pursue an original idea while interpreting older traditions and/or techniques in a fresh way. The strongest artists recognize their material’s appropriateness for use in the object's creation while simultaneously provide evidence of their masterful handling of those materials and techniques, not as ends in themselves, but rather in the service of their unique vision.
In addition, I embrace those works that embody strong and vital connections between the maker’s concept and the final expression of his or her idea. Finally, my most important criteria is that a work of art carries a sense of feeling and caring on the part of the maker. The objects in this exhibition announce themselves as objects of personal expression; they resound with the artist’s confidence, verve, imagination and inventiveness.”

While flying recently on Alaska air recently, I found the article about the Seattle Pioneer Square section. Great to know about our gallery being on the picture, but the editor did not include not all information about the galleries in these area. But we found our gallery name is not on the magazine. A bit frustrated, is this matter of money business such advertisement fee? Only who paid the fee is able to be shown on the magazine? Please inform the details who paid or not paid or how you arrange the content, was the fee your magazine requested expensive?. Anyway if I am in this shoe in this buisness involved at this area, I should be printed on this magazine in the spot for sure, even they are being charged, I do happily involved in. So many people will find the information about this nice area with interests about Pioneer Square Seattle. Please visit the Occidental Square in case you come Seattle, and you will be fine.
Hi, Margo, I plan to have two person show, a kind of Solo Show here at Fredercik Gallery in Pioneer Square in July 2018. It is time to wonder Facebook. There are not much value among fake-news surrounded; not connected it for a while and it is no problem. It is not productive either. Maybe it is about high time to suspend it. Back to work.

Printed will work better, should be better than free internet tool.
There is no free luch in the world; there is no much merit to use free tool such fakebook to PR, pay your sound money for your promotion in prints and magazine. period.
