Juror’s “Most Creative” Award for “Energy III - Big Bang” by Naoko Morisawa
This is perhaps the work that separated itself most, for me, in this collection. The craftsmanship, varied use of materials and dynamic imagery appeals to my deepest creative instincts. Conceptually it speaks to color, form and texture, utilizing materials in a most efficient expressive way, creating a conversation about fabrication, illusion and perception.
The total of seven awards for the ISEA 2018 Virtual Exhibition juried by Rufus Snoddy.
Thank you so much for your review, trust and selection for the award.

Got an invitational exhibition message from Kaka'ako area, which is the recent emerging art zone in Honolulu, HI. Much appreciated. If condition being met, we are looking forward to be part of the Paris Salon styled exhibition in Honolulu!!
[We are having an all-female exhibit for international women's history day. our paris salon style exhibit will be an homage to the art collection of literary, Gertrude Stein. Her collection reflected modern artists from the nazi paris era like matisse and picasso. This work redefined modern art today in technique, skill, and historical reference. I am seeking female artist here in Honolulu with inspirational work to compliment the composition we are putting together.]

Another new publication has arrived today. A bit damaged in corner, the editor will send us a replaced magazine hopefully.
The Editor, Steven says that Printed magazines work better and carries a weight that cannot be replicated in digital form. That is correct, and cheap internet form may be an illusion and often a fake. The fine artworks have to be printed and bought by buyers for their real review.

Very honored to be selected one of the Individual Artist Award 2017 from the Santo Foundation, St. Louis, USA. This is an international competition, there were more than 800+ entry from 40 US states, and 30 countries.
About The Santo Foundation Individual Artist Awards:
Our original mission set out to assist the careers of emerging Artists. It was clear that most granting agencies that gave money to artists went first to organizations and designated funds, who then trickled financial awards down to artists. The concept of streamlining grants/stipends directly to artist was unprecedented.
The process began in 2009 by selecting a Distinguished Juror connected to a contemporary museum. This allowed our candidates the rare opportunity to have their work seen first-hand by significant curators and museum directors.
Our Distinguished Jurors select top award winners based solely on the quality of their work. Beyond the opportunity to have their work reviewed by our jurors, the award winners receive substantial monetary stipends. Many of our Distinguished Jurors have further included our candidates in permanent museum collections, solo and group exhibitions.
